Is It Safe to Upload?

DATA SECURITY & SAFETY

Share only what is relevant.

AI conversations can contain names, workplaces, financial details, medical information and details about other people. You do not need to send everything.

Before uploading:

  • Select only the relevant conversation or summary
  • Remove names and direct identifiers where possible
  • Remove information about other people unless it is necessary
  • Check attachments
  • Do not include passwords, bank details or unrelated confidential material
  • Use your client reference rather than your name
  • Read the consent and retention information

What MHAI does:

  • Separates identity and submitted information where practical
  • Restricts access by role
  • Uses secure transfer and storage controls
  • Records consent and access
  • Trains staff handling sensitive information
  • Provides a deletion and export process
  • Does not treat an upload as permission to use the information for unrelated purposes

What MHAI cannot guarantee:

No online system can honestly promise zero risk. The service explains its security controls, suppliers, storage locations and incident process in plain language.
