Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using the MHAI website or commissioning our services.

1. Scope of Service

MHAI provides structured intake reviews, pathway guidance, independent treatment reviews, provider matching, and care coordination. MHAI is not an emergency service, crisis intervention provider, or automated diagnostic platform. If you are experiencing a mental health emergency, please use our Crisis and Urgent Help page or contact emergency services immediately.

2. Client Responsibilities

  • You agree to provide accurate and truthful information to the best of your knowledge.
  • You are responsible for keeping your private client reference confidential.
  • You acknowledge that when uploading third-party AI summaries or notes, you should remove unnecessary personal details or confidential information relating to third parties.

3. Fees and Payments

Fees for modular services (including MHAI Reference, Initial Review, Start, Connect, Review, and Care) are clearly outlined prior to purchase. Payments are processed securely and must be settled prior to the commencement of review work or consultations.

4. Clinical Responsibility & Disclaimers

Guidance provided by MHAI does not constitute a formal psychiatric or medical diagnosis unless explicitly conducted by an appropriately qualified, registered clinician contracted for that specific scope. Independent practitioners, therapists, or services recommended through MHAI Connect maintain full independent clinical responsibility for any care they deliver.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MHAI shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of or reliance upon information, recommendations, or third-party provider introductions made through the service.

6. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
