About MHAI
OUR PURPOSE
The next step after AI.
People are already using AI to think through anxiety, mood, sleep, relationships, work pressure, neurodiversity and physical symptoms.
That use is often treated as irrelevant when they approach a professional. They are asked to start again.
MHAI was created around a different idea:
- Do not replace the client’s AI.
- Do not replace human expertise.
- Build a better service between them.
We use the information the client already has, ask what is still missing and reserve human time for interpretation, judgement and decisions.
A better operating model for care
MHAI is not built on the belief that clinicians are the problem.
Mental healthcare contains brilliant people working inside systems designed for a different era. Our aim is to make the journey more coherent, more efficient and more accountable.
Less repetition. Better questions. Human judgement. A clear route forward.
Why I started MHAI
I began by asking whether psychotherapy could be delivered more efficiently. The question quickly became larger.
Why is one therapist expected to market, assess, gather information, choose a treatment, deliver it, coordinate other services and judge whether it is working? Why does the client have to choose the professional before receiving informed guidance?
Why do people repeat the same history to every service? And why is months of thoughtful AI conversation ignored when it may contain the most complete account the client has ever created?
My background is in building businesses, digital systems, service journeys and communication, combined with training in integrative psychotherapy. MHAI brings those strands together.
The aim is not to automate care or remove the human relationship. It is to use technology where it is useful, human expertise where it matters and a better-designed system to connect the two.
