MHAI Review
INDEPENDENT TREATMENT REVIEW
When treatment is not working, “give it more time” is not always enough.
MHAI Review is an independent look at your current treatment, diagnosis, provider or plan.
It may be useful when:
- You are unsure whether the treatment fits the problem
- Progress has stalled
- You do not understand the treatment rationale
- Sessions feel supportive but nothing changes
- You are considering changing therapist
- Several approaches have failed
- Medication and therapy are not coordinated
- You want a second opinion before spending more time or money
The review may consider:
- The original formulation or diagnosis
- Treatment goals
- The evidence for the current approach
- Therapeutic fit
- Attendance and engagement
- Outcome measures
- Missing medical or contextual factors
- Whether to continue, adapt, combine, pause or change
Changing course is not failure. Continuing without review can be.
